What's New
Welcome to our new website! Be sure to check the parish bulletin for upcoming events and news. From time to time updates will also be posted here.
Facility Usage
Any ministry or group wishing to schedule an event must call the Parish Offices. Please read the Facilities Policy.
Fellowship and Hospitality
There are many opportunities for parishioners to
come together in fellowship. Sacred Heart Ladies'
Sodality sponsor Spaghetti Suppers, Ham & Bean
Suppers and other events. The Knights of
Columbus sponsors monthly suppers and raffles.
Many other opportunities arise during the year.
Please watch the bulletin for upcoming events.
Middleborough and Rochester both hold Chicken Barbecues in the spring that includes family fun and games for children, pony rides etc. At St. Rose the very popular church BBQ was held on June 12, 1961, four months prior to the official opening of St. Rose of Lima.
Sunday Hospitality
Please join us for Sunday Hospitality. We gather
together in fellowship in Middleborough on the
third Sunday of the month and in Rochester on the
first Sunday of the month (September through
June). Rochester parishioners enjoy chatting and feasting on homemade goodies while Middleborough offers coffee and doughnuts.
Kids' Club at St. Rose
On the second Sunday of the month (September through May), after
the 9:00 a.m. Mass, children meet in the church for an entertaining
story usually pertaining to the Sunday readings. Quite often there
are teen helpers from the Confirmation Class and a member of the
clergy taking part in the story. The group then goes into the
Rochester Parish Hall for a snack and a craft. Parents and grandparents
are welcome to participate.
