“Mass is always a venue of comfort, reverence, and warmth.”

“The tradition our parish has within the Mass and celebrants making Mass a joy, not a chore or what seems like a ‘cattle shuffle’ in a hurry to get people in and out!”

"I am new to this area. I have enjoyed each Mass I attended, especially the music, the sense of togetherness among the parishioners and the clergy, and most importantly the presence of family within the church. I intend to become a regular attendee at Sunday Masses. Thank you for an inspiring hour on Sundays.”

“We have meaningful and beautifully done religious ceremonies – Easter, Christmas, First Communion.”

“The ministry of providing ASL interpretation for the deaf has been a gift to me. Each time that I am asked to interpret the Mass I consider it a great honor. I would not be effective as an interpreter without the help of the Holy Spirit. I am drawn closer to God by this service and I am thankful for the opportunity. I also feel a connection with the deaf people in our community. I am constantly working to improve my skills in order to be a better vehicle for interpreting the Mass for them and their families.” Theresa Craig

Interpreted Sunday Worship
Sacred Heart Parish is committed to providing worship experiences for all of God’s people. To this end, a signed Mass is offered at 9:30 AM on all Sundays at Sacred Heart.

Family Mass
During the school year, at Sacred Heart Church, a Family Mass is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the 9:30 AM Mass.

Eucharistic Adoration
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place monthly at Sacred Heart Church, on First Friday beginning at 3:30 PM and continuing through benediction at 6:45 PM. Parishioners sign up to take half hour “watches” of prayer and praise in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament throughout this time. Following the benediction, First Friday Mass is celebrated.

Special Liturgies
Throughout the year we joyfully celebrate the Feasts and Seasons of the Church. We plan special liturgies for Advent, Minight Mass/Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Pentecost. In addition we hold a Mass of Rememberance in early November.
